Gutting Medicaid is the test run for gutting Medicare, gutting Social Security in all forms probably starting with SSI, and HUD Section 8 vouchers and the sections directly under Section 8, like Section 811 for disabled and Section 202 for seniors 62+. Those 2 Sections don’t use vouchers

I don't know what percentage of residents of nursing homes are recipients of Medicaid, but it's a lot. These people have signed away their homes to their counties in many cases in order to be cared for in dignity. Now what?

Cutting Medicaid won't save taxpayer money, they will cut taxes to the rich. It will shift the burden to everyone else. The sick will still get sick and when they cannot pay doctors and hospitals, they will pass the cost to people with insurance and then they will raise your copays and deductibles
