I am seriously considering writing up a document on effective management for a local grocery store at which I used to be employed. For context, I submitted a complaint to corporate and had a conversation with the store manager earlier today, but it was while in the middle of other shit.

He lead with the same excuses you've heard a thousand times about how "no one wants to work," and ignored the atrocious reputation the place put years to building. If they don't have enough people working the registers, it is on them to find people who can do so.

Liam himself is five goddamned years old and should be at home with an adult he trusts right now no matter who his parents are. It would not matter if they were literal criminal masterminds, Liam Ramos is a baby and babies do not belong in prison.

Representative Seth Magaziner@magaziner.house.gov

Reminder that, as of the latest reports, Liam Ramos is still in prison in Texas - now for 5 days. His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.

There is a family up here whom I've known for near thirty years. They've always had a rather unfriendly relationship with the truth. One of their children, now middle-aged, is running for office. He's holding an event in the area. I believe I have a moral obligation to publicly oppose his candidacy.

I keep my tone even, my word choice more civil than is warranted, the act of voicing opposition at all is still liable to draw the ire of any supposedly "local" police in attendance. Fair shot I'm escorted out for speaking in the interest of my community. I'd just as soon avoid that.

If I disappear after Thursday, it's even odds someone is lying to cause me trouble. Again. As I've said before: I am meaningfully physically disabled. I am not an intimidating person, and anyone pretending otherwise is doing so because they stand to benefit from the lie.

My plan is to do so. I am not a threat, nor is it my intention to engage physically. I am simply of the belief that one is morally obliged to confront evil when and where it presents itself. One must stand up to bullies, all that. Trouble is, he and his have a long history of lying to authorities.

We are watching one of the wildest things a nation-state has ever done: A superpower is committing suicide because the GOP Congress is too cowardly to stand up to the Mad King. This is one of the wildest moments in all of geopolitics ever.

Footage shows Danish troops arriving in Greenland as part of a new military deployment. Among the personnel who landed on the island is Major General Peter H. Boysen, Chief of the Danish Army Command. #Greenland

I told my father he could continue to back this criminal regime, or he could continue having me as his kid. He spent an hour breathlessly throwing out excuses, "I didn't see that," "the Dems are bad too," etc. He never actually denounced Trump's administration.

Not sure there's anywhere for me to go. Gotta make sure the cats have good homes. This country's a wreck, but I'm permanently disabled and lack employable skills; no other country would have me. Not sure what I'm supposed to do here.

If your newspaper is giving Donald Trump softer headlines and gauzier coverage than People Magazine, that should be a bit of a wake up call.

Also: if you work for ICE, even if you’re not one of the ones arresting citizens or tackling 15-year-olds or zip-tying kids together and segregating them by race, you’re part of the mechanism making it happen, and you should suffer long-term social and post-regime-change consequences.
