Yes and no. Vaccines are good when given enough clinical trials, not when done trails (like covid)live on real people. We need to fix the regulations, no other choice.

Clearly, you need to stop reading and listening to ms media and do your own research. The world is flat, otherwise we’d fall into space. See? /s

Yes, satire. I know that inin today’s weird world where science and facts don’t matter, that you need to single the sarcasm - hence the /s😎

Our brains have been broken by transactionalism. The 50/50 ideology is just as bad. Then there's people who make claims that are appropriations. There is not a single successful species that has not gifted to the environment. All successful species gift to their environments in some way.

I am almost 70 and because of vaccine I have never had Polio or Measles. Whipping Cough. I don’t get the flu every year and I did not die from covid. Vaccine’s work

Adam are you still with us over in Country First? I saw an interview with you and you seemed like you were neutralizing toward Trump. We could all use the leadership we followed you for right now.

You are so right!! I was with the group that received some of the first polio vaccines. After seeing people in iron lungs and months and months in the hospital, my parents made the brave decision to get me and my siblings the vaccine. I’m so thankful for my parents!

If anyone has ever seen pictures of little children in iron lounges during the time that we didn’t have a vaccine against polio will definitely agree with you. Unless his name is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that is of course. It’s time to dust of these monster machines I guess.

Vaccines and antibiotics are the reasons families are not losing multiple children to infections. Just stroll through any cemetery with graves from before the antibiotic era and you'll see many families that have lost 1, 2, or more children at birth or at a young age.

Clean water is another reason we don't lose as many young children. Yet, the incoming administration will probably take a hammer to clean air and clean water regulations.

We can debate the need for everyone to have/need any or all of them. We can investigate the potential harms of any added ingredients. We can regulate the pricing to eliminate obscene profiteering. But we can never deny that they are one of humanities greatest discoveries.

It’s even more important to get vaccinated now, not only to prevent flu and Covid from being horrible, but also to prevent mutation of a bird flu pandemic. We’ve been here before with this president-elect/orange criminal.

Having grown up in a time prior to vaccines being the norm, I agree. Went through measles, croup, whooping cough , chickenpox with my siblings. #vaccinessaveslives

Adam I'm researching my Acadian ancestry and the number of ancestors that were lost to small pox is heart breaking. We have to rebuild the nation's trust in science so we don't go through that ever again.

The idea that the military would not be immunized?? Children not immunized when starting school or having to have the most updated vaccine & physical medical record for your kids to participate in school and sports. It’s reckless endangerment at the least.

My ballet teacher when I was a kid (I’m 69) had polio as a child, which left her feet deformed and why she began studying dance. My mom told me about classmates who were treated in iron lungs. People making these types of decisions for their fellow citizens should have minimum quals, lacking here.

So did I, and many adult friends who had had polio when they were children plus my father could not serve in World War II because he had measles and it had affected his hearing.

Nothing controversial on Bluesky. I feel like I'm living in the same universe as other people around me here again! 😄 Vaccines and antibiotics are the two biggest milestones in medicine history.

HIB vax came out my second year of peds residency. Got to see infant meningitis all but disappear. It was breathtaking. Years later I wept with joy when my grandkids got Covid vax. That is what we are fighting for.

Vaccine safety is the issue, when did that become a left vs. right issue? Proper testing and adequate compensation for those injured shouldn't be partisan. Research should be such that at-risk people can be screened, but no one requires this of manufacturers.

They do clinical trials for FDA approval. They do not do ongoing studies with placebo controls. Have you seen a longitudinal health study on adverse effects? I'm fully vaccinated, but I have had adverse effects and no provider was interested in documenting it in VAERS. RFK is asking good questions.

The four great public health initiatives of the last two hundred years are sewers, water treatment, antibiotics, and vaccines. Together, they've taken child mortality from 40% or more, down to a number measured out of ten thousand.

All vaccines are not the same. The polio vaccine is a miracle and amazing. The various COVID vaccines aren’t even vaccines, they are RNA immune system re-sequencers. Do you think that a rushed-out, barely-tested brand new vaccine is as safe as the 70 year old, tried-and-tested polio vaccine?

Absolutely correct! Without vaccines we would still have the major diseases that plagued people in the lake 1800's-early 1900's. Polio, Smallpox, Diptheria, Typhoid, Measles, Mumps & Rubella and so many more. Covid would have wiped out 10x more than it did.
