Let's talk about misogyny on the left. Because yeah, the open misogyny of the right to literally enslave women in their domination rage is blatantly obvious. The misogyny on the left of the political spectrum is way more sneaky. Get some water, this is gonna be a dive I wanted to write for a while.🧵

The primary victims of mass surveillance worldwide, are women and girls. From state surveillance to misogynist extremists, women's privacy is consistently violated and victims worldwide are cataloged, monitored, and preyed on like livestock.

Meta glasses are being used for covert harassment and group stalking. Women and girls are being secretly filmed in streets, schools, restaurants and on dates, then uploaded for millions of strangers. Police inquiries now span worldwide. #OpDeathEaters

Women are not responsible for Andrew Tate. Feminists are not responsible for the male loneliness epidemic. We will not be blamed for the patriarchal rape culture we are trapped in. It’s time for men to hold other men accountable. We’ve tried for long enough. We’re done.

Yes, this is 100% about censorship in general, and the current anti-sexual weirdness that’s going on. But a paragraph near the end of the article is especially telling… ASMR is primarily created by women. Women doing anything will always be perceived by some as inherently sexual (excerpt in comms)

‘Polarization’ has become the master concept for diagnosing our current democratic crisis. But this is not polarization. It is the radicalization of the political right. By misdiagnosing it, we risk becoming complicit in the crisis. 🧵 Just out in Perspectives on Politics doi.org/10.1017/S153...

When you see the story about how the world now has its first trillionaire, and when you see the story about how laboratories in Congo have run out of supplies to test for Ebola, it is important to understand that in many ways these are the same story.

If sexual abuse was really considered a terrible thing, the world's richest and most powerful people wouldn't be abusers. The most valued technology wouldn't produce sexual abuse on demand. And allegations of abuse wouldn't be framed as positive depictions of masculinity. Our culture rewards abuse.

Feeling overwhelmed with all of this. LISTEN. Another Louisiana resident (Marshawn is the only name we have) testifies against the state’s racial gerrymander, speaking truth to power up and down the hearing room and predicts how this story will end. Speak your truth, fight and believe.

About that manosphere rumour, that women are always treated favourably at court... Men win custody cases over women much more as well. Women don't get justice under patriarchy, much less equal treatment in front of courts. Everything regarding "preferential treatment" is an absolute verifiable lie.

Chelsea Perkins murdered the man who raped her. She pled guilty and took full responsibility. She was given 22.5 years in prison. Jesse Mack Butler raped and strangled two children. One sustained such severe neck injuries she almost died. He got community service.

Wait, there is more. 😒

True equality can only be reached through egalitarian measures. Because pretending we are close to being equals in this society really is only damaging women. I wrote this thread having cis heterosexual relations in mind, of course these points can be true for other constellations as well. The end.

It's your duty as a person to boycott billionaire owned platforms and megacorps. Money is the only language they speak and are willing to understand. You can't scream "Tax the rich!" on nazi Twitter while you order your cheap shit on Amazon. That makes you a part of the problem.

The richest man owns X. The second and fourth richest men control Google. The third richest man owns The Washington Post. The fifth richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. And now the sixth richest could soon take over both Paramount and Warner Bros. See the problem here?

I say this for a while already: The child rapist billionaires are not pedophiles, as they are not necessarily attracted to children. They are sociopaths and attracted to inflict suffering and damage. Besides murder, you can't inflict more suffering and long lasting damage to anyone outside of rape.

At a certain point of wealth, what is being pursued seems not to be wealth, but the ability to make other people suffer. What's being pursued is immunity from human decency; the ability and even the right to be depraved with impunity. They get off on the suffering. www.the-reframe.com/where-it-ends/

I trust journalists way more than cops and courts to investigate sexual violence allegations. When a thoroughly reported journalistic investigation comes out, like the ones about Eric Swalwell, I’ve seen enough. If you haven’t done this work you may be unaware of how much goes into it.
