As a Canadian I worry about tarrifs. The US and Canada markets are attached at the hip in many ways which is why free trade benefits us both in a sane world.

The only reason other countries would try to speak against Trump, or make him look like a fool, is because he doesn't "adhere" to a globalist agenda, and refuses to bleed money, to them.

Most foreign "influences" seem to be realigning, in anticipation of the Trump era. The only reason our "allies" would be nervous, would be because they know the money tap is being cut off.

And Bill Clinton was super close, to Yeltsin. The Clintons benefitted, because Yeltsin backed down- the relationship between the DNC and Russia, has long been known. By anyone, paying attention before 2016.

Canada and the US have integrated markets, especially the auto market. Should Trump sever that by ending free trade Canada would have no choice but to cozy up to other markets.
