I wish we could muster such crowds. Putin doesn't appear to be failing in the U.S. I suspect he's trying to desperately hold on in Ukraine until the Orange Man gets sworn in. Then O.M. will do all he can to deliver on Ukraine.

We don't need conspiracy theories. We lost the election because too many people stayed home. Many of the people who voted, were not voting for but against something. We will have a chance to start fixing this in 2 years.

America? Who’s fighting in America?? There hasn’t been one protest. More pathetically, there hasn’t been one call for a recount of November’s recent farce of an election. No no no. Yes Georgians are fighting. Yes Ukrainians are bravely fighting. But Americans?? Forget about it. They’re a lost cause

If they won’t protest over Sandy Hook, kids separated from parents & kept in cages, systemic racism, Black women continuing to die in childbirth, numerous Nazi far right rallies, etc, I can only deduce it will take something like a change to their cable tv that might get some modicum of interest.

Me too! We the people are sleeping on our are last little bit of power too, because we don’t have the stomach for meaningful demonstration. If we all collectively discontinued all financial expenditure-no Christmas-they would take notice, at least here in America.

We have Musk calling out our elected gov & undermining them at every opportunity. He is rumoured to try & do the same to UK as he did to US-hence demands to tighten laws around party donations particularly foreign. It’s a fool who thinks they’ll keep their democracy without a fight these days

For almost a year, Republicans in Congress starved the Ukrainians of vital arms supplies, just as they had Russia on its back heels. Now that Russia has used that break to rebuild its strength, those same Republicans say: 'See? We were right. Ukraine cannot win.' What treachery! 😠

Hitler was given the ok to take Czechoslovakia. He didn't think there would be a response if he then took Poland. He made a pact with Russia to invade then divide Poland. A war on 2 fronts overwhelmed Poland. The UK and France had no appetite for war but it was inevitable. And it got worse, rapidly.

As much as it disgusts me, we have to acknowledge that half of our country genuinely believes that we are literally the enemy within. This isn't a government vs the people situation. If we don't change minds and hearts, there will be another Trump every 4 years.

Unfortunately, the US has the most lethal military on the planet. The loyalists will not be afraid to use drones on mass protests. We’ve also got militarized police with little training.

No. Those countries are the warning signs; the distant (but very close) beacons of a coming storm. The front line; the bulwark of the defense of democracy on this planet will be in this nation.
