Microsoft isn't made up of angels, to be sure, but any company seeking to protect its interests would be making this kind of move right now. I don't think any company was prepared for 145% tariffs on China and it is going to wipe out even the largest companies.

I like the spirit of this idea, but I think it also depends on the person who does it. If a person with a very divisive personality does it, it can sometimes cause more harm than good (even if what they're saying is right).

It keeps telling me it can rewrite everything better than what I have already written just how I want it, and many other utterly maddening things. You can only kill it for email by downgrading to "classic" with no AI on next renewal. My plan renews May 6 so I downgraded and now hope for the best.

It hovers in the background of my subscription but I absolutely refuse to click on it, and then, just to trip me up, they swap the icon places on my toolbar for Outlook and bloody Copilot! Grrrr

You can disable copilot. Go to the app’s settings and click enable copilot. It will come up with a very misleading warning that certain features may not work properly. I’ve disabled copilot and everything works just fine.

I haven't checked yet. They're always so busy they have a line and I don't want to bother. For food I go to the local curb market that gets their produce, eggs, milk and meat from local farms. A little more expensive but fresher and tastier.
