We do have the advantage of not having tanks that tend to blow their crews a thousand feet in the air when they take a direct hit.

Just because Russia may not be winning in some conventional senses, doesn't lessen the devastation visited upon Ukrainian people. Or our collective shame in failing to uphold Budapest Memorandum. That failure has basically destroyed nuclear non-proliferation and led to millions of deaths.

Not peace, but a pause in hostilities to allow Russia to rearm while Ukraine's army is limited and NATO is permanently off the table. No security guarantees and Russia will try eventually to finish the job.
