National Guard shouldn't be enforcing laws. The Posse Comitatus Act forbids military personnel acting as law enforcement against American citizens. The exception is if Trump invoked the Insurrection Act it overrides the Posse Comitatus Act. This is why Trump's done a purge on military officers.
