If only there was some way that they could avoid leaving AI images or assets in any part of the promo or game, like some kind of professional they could hire to create these images and assets from the start... You could call them something like "image production professionals"... Oh wait *ARTISTS*

Psst: I get just as irritated at publications that rush to print without, for instance, checking that they've spelled people's names correctly. It's Patrice Désilets.

Having spoke with marketing people: they *always* know, they like it because they can then generate part of the marketing material themselves, and when you raise the issue their concern is mostly to not disclose it because “that could erode our brand of authenticity” (verbatim)

There's only marketing to look at you in the eye and say “We should not tell the customer we're doing this because we have built a reputation on authenticity.”

I work in marketing. Can confirm. My soul has been dying for years now, and I hate every day I go to work. When I finally get back to school for nursing, I’m going to burn so many bridges over AI work that my name will be legendary.

so funny how this topic comes up every 2 months or so and everytime without fail actual experienced game devs post a bunch of screenshots exactly like this to prove the same point. you'd think a reasonable person would stop and rethink their use of ai by now
