Faith in God cannot be legislated. Faith in God can only be a result of individual acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The Ten Commandments are not even what new covenant Christians are taught to follow. We are to follow Matthew 22:37, something the Governor struggles with… love!

So taxing churches is going to be okay because there's no more separation. No more first amendment. Good job, GOP. Wherever you end up after this life, may it be a reflection of how you treated the least of us. (Matthew 25:31-46)

Which version will they use? Exodus 20: 1-17 or Deuteronomy 5: 4-21? Or will they shorten/simplify it so the condemnation of anyone working on the sabbath (or making one’s servants (employees?) work on the sabbath) as a sin is obscured?

As a lifelong Texan of ~70yrs, may I simply say: FUCK. TEXAS'. ATTEMPT. AT. GOV'T. AND. ALL. THINGS. AND. "PEOPLE". ASSOCIATED. Love my state, fucking hate my state's fetid and festering attempt at gov't. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤡🫏🖕🖕💩💩💩

My hunch is they know it’s all hooey and they barely believe in it themselves. HOWEVER . . . If they can convert or coerce others then they must, in their minds, be on the path. . . . But fundamental, reactionary mental crises arise when they can’t. At which time they freak out.

Do they think these posters will cause grade school students to become Christians or is it just a case of “look FFRF or the ACLU is suing us, I told you Christians are being persecuted”?

Forcing their religious iconography into secular classrooms and other public buildings is just the pseudochristian version of a dog pissing on a tree. It’s a dominance display. If their faith is that strong why does it need such constant reinforcement?
