Another change that needs to be done when we get ride of these criminals. If a state elects a representative that should be enough. To have one person the only one who can swear in a newly elected person, and that person withhold that swearing in for politics is not democracy

But I think it still required the house to designate someone other than the speaker and in this case the GOP are in sync with the speaker and there is no way the house will appoint anyone else. I am saying there needs to be a non partisan solution to seat a duly elected person if the house won't act

The state of #Arizona should withhold their federal tax payment by the amount paid by every Arizonan in that district who is not being represented by Speaker Johnson’s failure to his duty. Every #Arizonan in that district ought to withhold their tax payments due to taxation without representation.

Yeah, and Democrats must ignore their ignorance. Having the Speaker of the House isn't LAW it's tradition. The constitution only proscribes the nature of the oath. A myna bird can swear in a new member as long as a proper oath is taken. This is yet another Democrat missed opportunity.
