Tim Walz on DHS officers who shot Minnesotans: "We're gonna bring them back and hold them accountable for what they did"

Do it, Tim. Show that there are still politicians in the US with a sense of justice and who won't allow Trumpian thugs to murder innocent people in their state without facing the courts for their crimes.

That would be a good and just thing to do but can he even really personally make this promise? Didn’t he say he wasn’t running for reelection? When would that actually happen within his purview? These sound like empty words.

Let me guess: Republicans will safe-harbor the murderers in a GOP state and refuse to extradite them to Minnesota, declaring them protected by “sanctuary city” laws!?

By your logic, police officers who've killed innocent citizens would have warrants and be arrested, but they have immunity and criminal charges are rarely filed against them. How is it any different with ICE?

I wish our leaders would stop saying that "it seems" like the federal government is enabling terrorism and just start saying that the federal government's explicit goal is enabling terrorism.

I couldn’t believe how quickly they got those murderers out of here. We are mourning so much here. The loss of quality citizens by psychopaths is too much to bear. I am so proud of my state and my governor, who is still looking for the murderers.

put up or shut up?? parse it. put up like accept ice or don't talk about ice? that doesn't make any kind of sense. nice lol tho. it really kicks in something extra, something meaningful. what are words actually for anyway? just reach into your alphabet soup and start slapping together letters?

go for it guy. tell me what the friggity fuck put up or shut up means when bsky are bitching that someone in Minnesota should have arrested two ICE agents without causing a fucking federal feeding frenzy. explain how that's not some armchair fucking quarterbacking bullshit, please.

No help from the administration because it's the administration doing it. I'm glad you're going after them. Get every single one of them. These are hardened criminals.

I like Tim Walz. I feel bad that he got tied to the absolute train wreck that was the Harris campaign. But I'll believe it when I see it. ICE and all of the MAGA politicians need to be tried in a massive Nuremburg-style case

"I'm gonna give Homan the benefit of the doubt" "They should coordinate with local law enforcement, pick these people up in the middle of the night when they're not suspecting it" Walz is capitulating to fascists and encouraging night raids. Genuinely disgusting. Why would anyone settle for this?

Remember the outrage over Ashli Babbitt who actually involved in an illegal move to the congressional chamber and told to stop repeatedly. That was fully investigated and now it’s Good a Pretti turn to be fully investigated.

Exactly. They don't know who it was, and this administration isn't going to shop them either. So how he thinks they're going to deliver justice is a mystery. The current US government isn't accountable to anybody, they can do as they please, despite what some might say otherwise.

Anyone still doing that job is devoid of a conscience. Once prosecutions begin, the names of all existing agents ought to be made public so people are forewarned of the mentality they possess and can steer clear.

I Never Will Forget What Happened In Minnesota! Our Own Government Is The Enemy Of Our Country #MinnesotaStrong Thank you for stepping up for our democracy! 🔥✨💖

These guys need to specify exactly WHAT they plan to DO instead of just saying "hold them accountable." Folks are jaded and tired. Things like this sound like meaningless platitudes to a huge number of people who aren't already consistent Dem voters whose votes can be counted on anyway. Be SPECIFIC

IMO, hiding the Coward-ICE murderers is why feds are going after Southern Poverty Law now. What better way to get lists of informants on Rethuglikkklan strongholds than to accuse SPLC of fraud & raid their offices for financial records? DOJ "investigation" is KKK protection using taxpayer dollars.

I'm confused about bringing them back. Why the fuck were they allowed to leave in the first place? I've never been to Minnesota, but is it common practice to let people who shoot people in the street just leave, in the hopes that they will come back later for their murder trial?

It feels like JUSTICE is on the ballot for the next couple of elections. We need to all get out and vote in Democrats who can add teeth to congressional committees, invoke the 25th, and impeach, then we need to elect a prosecutor as president. I know one who got the third most votes in US history.
