El-Sayed on Islamophobia: "That's the only play they got. They're gonna point at me, they're gonna point at my name, like, 'Wow, he's different.' That's the best you got? You can't actually talk about what you want to do? My name is not raising your gas prices. My name is now taking us to war."

I don’t like the guy. I would not have voted for him in the primary. What upsets me most is chanting M4A when his own wife does not except insurance in her practice. Antisemitism, potentially. The way he “attacked” opponent in the primary. Election: I vote for him.

Then I’m thankful mine does. I wouldn’t be able to afford care if not. Complete failure of our health care system along with no dental care if you can’t pay upfront. I need $35,000 worth of dental care. When my partner’s mother dies I can maybe get care. His mother is 94 & quite spry.

I love your content, and I know you rush to get your posts up, but the amount of glaring and context altering spelling errors you make is shocking. "My name is now taking us to war" is completely different than "My name is not taking us to war."

This. The first thing out of every Democratic candidate this election is point out how the repugs have to resort to name calling because they can't run on the condition of the country and they have no plan to make the country or your life better.

Hell, Trump and Republicans still pull that card over a decade later! And today they still try the bigotry with terms like “Mamdanistan” and others they think are cute for displaying their hate. But as his results continue to speak for themselves, it’s going to look more and more foolish.

Oldest trick in the Republican playbook: fear the “others”. Meanwhile, trying to proclaim they are a big tent party. Only tent republicans have is a circus tent.

Here in Germany, this candidate will be viewed with particular skepticism, especially under the current conservative Merz government. While solidarity with Israel stems from our history, the wheel of time keeps turning, and no country remains static throughout history.

And the nice thing now is that if they compare AES to Mamdani, people will like him more because Mamdani is doing things people love. It’s not the scare tactic the GOP thinks it is.

That typo of "now" instead of "not" really needs to gey fixed. Modern news channels love to grab screenshots of social media and report them as verbatim fact.

If your job is clipping politicians for internet content then you should probably make a meaningful effort to transcribe their quotes with 100% accuracy, especially if your business strategy involves RTing those same quotes dozens of times per day
