Troy Jackson: "As late as 2024, the FBI was circling around Sen. Collins ... then when President Trump came back, his administration dismantled the investigation. Now she votes with Donald Trump 96% of the time. Look, I don't owe Donald Trump nothing."

"I don't owe t***p ANYTHING." Grammar, bro. maga dgaf about grammar but we have to maintain higher standards. We should expect that from our potential leaders.

People expect elected officials to make decisions based on their principles and the interests of the people they represent. Political alliances can change over time, but transparency and consistency are important for maintaining public trust.

I always thought Mainers were nice, intelligent people, overall. Now I see they seem to be a bunch of slack jawed yokels with a accent. How can an intelligent people keep sending her back?

God, I can’t tell you how much I love the phrase “I don’t owe ________ nothin!!!” But I love it one million per cent more when it’s about trump I can’t WAIT to vote for Jackson! #byebyesusan

I see a lot of comments about the way he talks. Look, if that is what you are focused on, we might as well give everything to the fascists.

And umm.... that's just the way people talk here. Especially up north! It doesn't seem to bother us Mainers so I wish folks would stfu about it, honestly.

Just how fucking brain dead (and/or morally bankrupt) do you have to be to live in Maine and be of voting age and not vote for Troy Jackson?

Free school lunches for all, some of the most progressive reproductive rights laws in the country, enhanced gun safety laws… just to name a few of Jackson’s accomplishments.

Appropriate here, too:

My son watched the whole Maine Senate debate this evening. He said Collins was polished as usual, but Jackson really held his own well and came off as very authentic. Great time to give Troy a few bucks to help him bring it home! www.jacksonformaine.com #GiveBlue

Susan Vlins is 73 years old…time for her to go! She’s corrupt as hell & has failed Maine, the women of this country, she voted for Brent Kavanaugh, she hasn’t done Maine any favors! Time for new blood,Troy Jackson is honest decent person who wants better for all people of Maine. He cares about Maine

I don't live in Maine ... but how can anyone there with a brain in their fucking head support that old bag ... she lies to their fucking faces and turns around EVERY TIME and capitulates to Trump ... fuckin’ geri's in politics !!!!!

Trump killed an FBI pay-to-play investigation into interactions between Sen. Susan Collins & a top donor. Fraudster Martin Kao funneled $150K to Collins super PAC through a shell company. Kao said Collins had committed to securing Navatek $32M in naval contracts. www.propublica.org/article/fbi-...

The FBI timeline is real: agents were still examining Collins-related allegations when Trump’s public-corruption purge effectively killed the inquiry. But “I don’t owe Trump nothing” goes beyond the evidence. There’s no proof Trump ended it for Collins—or that her votes were repayment.

Good god, this man is a logger and state legislator. He’s done a great job HELPING PEOPLE. He’s an honest man. Doesn’t hold out his pinky while drinking tea??? I wish I could vote for him….

This is how you debate. I'm so mad that Kamala's people told Tim Walz to be nice in his debate. It was such a dumb miscalculation. We never should be nice to any Republican who served Trump

"I don't own Donald Trump nothing." That means he owes Trump something. I guess speaking in double negatives gives Jackson working class cred.

He’s a logger by trade, & grew up in an extremely remote, very small town. However, he was a lawmaker here for decades & President of Maine Senate. He knows how to switch registers.

Instead of telling Americans about the bad things you could have done to your enemies, Donald, you should be shaking in your shoes about what Americans are going to do to YOU!

At the end of the day, people want leaders who can be trusted to put public responsibility above personal or political interests. Transparency matters, especially when power and accountability intersect.

I watched this, and between her weak responses to everything and her Evil HR Manager energy, she bombed. Troy did great, always dragging it back to the times when she didn't use her power to stop Trump. "Mainers can't pay their bills with a strongly worded letter," was a particularly good line.

Watch the double negative, Troy. Obviously you are using the “aww, shucks” man-of-the-people vernacular which I totally get but we are all too burned not to worry about someone who can come back and say, I said “I don’t him nothing.” We need you to win this thing!

I'm a 46 year old Mainer and I think using his regular northern Maine way of speaking is helpful. He's being himself and he sounds just like the rural folks he's trying to win over.

I think he's just being himself and his way of northern Maine speaking hasn't been a problem while he's been in office all along 💙🌲
