"Accountability" is a nice sentiment but it's become a popular talking point word to use because it sounds strong while being totally non-specific. Embarrassing somebody at a congressional hearing (which Dems already do plenty in the minority anyway) is not accountability. It's impunity on display.

I know the number of people who care is like 30-50 feral hogs, but the fact that a very successful law firm (Weil Gotshal) is teetering because its fanciest partners want to make $15 m and not $10 m (or whatever the relevant numbers are) is sort of interesting.
