Charles has been one of my favorite follows for years. While I had trouble dragging my butt to statistics class at 8 am in PA winters turns out some people liked that. He's numbers guy. I owe him some sewing skills in exchange.

Hey Charles. Do I remember something about sticky inflation in that class. If these tariffs are included in the price rather then listed like a tax. A lot of these prices may never come back down even if the tarriffs are removed.

Yup. Once people get "used to" the higher prices in many cases they just get sort of baked in. Then they can reduce the price later on and bill it as a "bargain" even if it's still 20% more (or whatever) than it was in the first place.

New follower here. Saw you with Simon today. The ACA became available to me when the Great Recession almost devastated my husband & me. I was grateful for the ACA & am sickened that it will not be available for my granddaughters that are just starting careers.

You raise money for Democrats, yet you're plastering BlueSky with attack ads against Platner for something he did a decade ago. The accuser is a Republican who worked for Susan Collins. Stop looking for perfect candidates. Unless you're promoting the octogenarian. Is your past perfect?

Charles, I'm planning to "Adopt a State" - looks like you started new links post election. Your old one for the PA State House had a general link to support House Dems but right now there is no link. Are you planning to update?

I appreciate it, but FWIW I've been here for over a year! The difference is that Bsky is now my "home base" now instead of my just cross-posting here. I'm winding down my presence at the other place; soon I'll only be cross-posting blog entries & Dem fundraising links there.

I can’t imagine you’d remember but way back on Twitter I used to interact with you a fair bit. Even as you really really got involved with the ACA. You’re the man-glad you’re home basing BlueSky!

Maybe you can tell me why UHC cancelled my Medicare advantage plan because I live in Maryland. I have also found out BCBS Aetna and Humana have also done the same thing. I had to go with a plan that charges me 122.00 per month on top of Medicare fee. I'm asking you because I can't get any answers.

Thank you for getting back to me.All of the Medicare Advantage plans are no longer available for residents of Maryland. They informed us at end of Dec So I was preoccupied with finding any insurance. But I will contact them

Just followed you after hearing your interview with Simon Rosenberg- great info for countering the Medicaid and ACA disinformation and frankly denial coming from people who have no idea what's headed their way.

Looks like I'm going have to pay $2500/month in NJ for a crappy plan with a $12K deductible. My non-political wife was so mad she called all of our Congressional reps. She never does this. "Healthcare" is by far our biggest expense. Nothing else comes close.

Thank you for sharing your work … hoping you will get to Ps, for Pennsylvania, soon, or consider breaking up the roll out order a bit so states with a lot of House Reps are motivated to call in. Thanks again.
