A24 accidentally and unwillingly becoming one of the biggest entertainment conglomerates in America by being the only people who are aware that highbrow liberals spend more money than anyone else
The first move for Skydance after the merger announcement: fire the studio executives who brought in One Battle After Another and Sinners.

New: Chris Rufo & his co-host devoted a podcast to "The Indian Question," framing Desi people as a problem to be solved. Their "solution?" Mass expulsion. For those allowed to remain: an “assimilation hazing process” w/ instances of “vulgar, defamatory racism" talkingpointsmemo.com/news/chris-r...

Enten: "President Trump has the highest strongly disapprove rating going into a midterm election on record. 50% of Americans now say that they strongly disapprove of the job he's doing. The previous record was Trump going into 2018 ... just 18% strongly approve of the job Trump is doing."

Why are Democrats trying to help Republicans? If anything they should be trying to raise the gas tax.
Candidates from *both* parties are calling for the federal and/or state gas taxes to be suspended, which makes sense from an election POV but seems like a TERRIBLE idea from a fiscal/budgetary (and also environmental) POV. Even if you support doing so, when exactly would they be reinstated?

The key to getting low-information voters to vote for Democrats or just to sit out elections is to do everything possible to brand Republicans and especially Trump as stupid losers that are embarrassing to associate with. Make them the NY Jets fans of politics.
I almost spat out my soda laughing at this. Like rats deserting the sinking MAGA ship.

I spent six months watching half this website explain away a Nazi tattoo a dude wore for 20 years as no big deal, and now (largely) that same group of people is saying one interview answer's worth of weasel words is absolutely and permanently disqualifying in a candidate.
in the least sympathetic interpretation of what Talarico said, which is not the correct one, Talarico committed to something that isn't going to happen because Democrats will not bring it to the floor, but that even if passed would not come close to what Paxton will do
