Correction - *44 people were referred to treatment Working in mental health — referred does not mean that they received treatment — maybe South Dakota has the stats for how many individuals received substance abuse treatment specifically for meth during that time period?

Honestly I feel like the pencil like this arguably has a symbollic feel of a person sinking into their addiction until the drug is all that remains. Though I still want a pencil like this and I would just keep it at saying "drugs"

Considering how the posters from that Campaign look, it feels way more like a public awareness Campaign that says all sorts of people, "normal" people do Meth and they deserve more compassion and actual help instead of their drug being illegal and them being treated like subhumans.

If you're South Dakota, what do you do when you launch a supposedly anti-drug campaign that has been universally derided as laughable as it appears to promote meth use? That's right, you claim success and double down by vowing to continue using the campaign!

You shoot your dog, go to Washington, have an entourage in LA to accuse the city of needing liberation from its mayor and governor because they of the opposite viewpoint of you on everything like most normal people, claim not to know the senator you’ve been ignoring is there, and keep on

Slay bitch! The messaging is clear and concise, and accurate. Like...we all knew there was a lot of meth in South Dakota, but the operative "we" does raise follow up questions about a certain incident involving a dog. Or, I don't know, why ya girl doesn't know what habeas corpus is.

I recall hearing about it at the time, and, thinking it was an SNL video, spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to find the skit… …when I learned it was real… : Jim looks at camera : I weep for future generations who’ll learn about us in their history classes.

Hi, I’m Kristy Noem. Are you aware of meth? Are you aware that it’ll knock your socks clean off? You’ll feel a rush like you’re just about to shoot your family dog in the face. In fact, you probably will! So what are you waiting for? Let’s get ripped on crank South Dakota!

Doesn't come close to the 9 mil she and Corey spent of public money for a PR campaign, same thing she's doing now only as Gov. A pal of Corey's got the contract and they promptly stole the creative concept from a local SD firm. $200 million is budgeted for the love birds' DHS campaign. Also a pal.
