Unfortunately it’s way too late. Worked on a Games once, the planning and design starts about 7 years out and grows year on year. Even going to a previous host would be very complicated given how much is temporary overlay, not permanent. Not easy but could USA remove the issue from power instead?!

It’s not practical to move it now. Sponsorships have been sold, event tickets have been sold and state, local and federal funds have been invested. If things get even worse here, perhaps the games will be canceled but not moved to another location.
