This kind of thing never used to happen when Boeing was run by engineers. It was run by engineers for 80 years and they built the safest aircraft in the world. Now it's run by Ivy League MBAs and their planes fall out of the sky. They can't even install the seats properly.

Shockingly when profit is put above all else and regulatory processes are removed, safety becomes a concern. It is a real head scratcher.

Boeing has certainly gone downhill since the "self regulation" thing. Yet coming from the FAA (federal) I believe nothing. Could be market manipulation. Vengeance. Retribution. Who knows. Or, the seats might really suck. I now require independent verification from non-partisan sources.

Well… As long as the seats don’t fall out, the plane is ‘safe’, a #Boing pr spokes person will probably say. Lets see when another plane drops from the sky and wait for #Boing to send out loads of ‘flying’ pr excuses again. As certified ‘reputation management’… Budget ‘well’ spent.

Maybe Boeing shouldn't have been able to get away with knowing they were going to murder people but wanting to make an extra buck before it happened. It's almost like they haven't actually faced real consequences for putting people in danger.

That’s an awful lot of seats to have to replace. They definitely need to be replaced before they are used. If you’re flying on a Boeing 737 Max maybe ask if the seats have been installed to code….
