Jeffries says everything is on the table legislatively to deal with the Supreme Court: In the new Congress, we’re going to have to do something about this Supreme Court, and let me be very clear: everything is on the table.

Both. Expand and term limits. And the 6 should be thrown out and jailed for treason and accepting bribes. The entire corrupt government. People don’t like this but unless blue governors secede, there will be violence.

We need a revolution. Honestly the set up is crumbling and corroded and corrupt. Voters have been warned and they STILL vote for these degenerates. We need more than amendments and definitely a plan to update the constitution. Which means changing laws.

Reduce the court's jurisdiction to the constitutional minimum. Create new super appellate court whose judges are randomly drawn from current appellate judges for each sitting. All could be done by legislation w/o amendments.

I visited the UK Supreme Court building. It’s my understanding their justices: Have an age limit. Are selected by Parliament. Can be temporarily upgraded lower court judges, when needed. Can be fired. Also, not all justices have to participate in every case. Their court can hear two cases at once!

If they expand by 4 justices I don’t want to hear anything about “in the spirit of comity and reaching across the aisle each party shall choose two nominees”, etc. Hell no. This is currently a stolen court due to McConnell’s chicanery. We don’t expand “equally”.

"If the court is expanded by 4 justices, these justices should all be Republican hacks to prevent that the court is perceived to have too much of a left wing bias." By David Brooks

If we’re serious about this (and reversing most of the other damage Trump has caused) we’re going to have to reform the filibuster and that means more and better Dems than we have now.

I think more importantly, it means that we need more and better voters than we have now. I’m sorry I know that’s the most politically incorrect thing one could say but it’s true, especially in the absence of serious media.
