Oh? An EO is a directive to govt agencies, not a magic wand that bypasses federal law. The protected status of animals is governed by the Endangered Species Act a fed. law passed by Congress. To change or remove protections, the government must follow strict legal and administrative procedures.

A one man destructive force - globally, and now climate/animal species. Destroying national parks, monuments, everything he touches dies...Mahatma Gandhi: “The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”

😩 He probably discovered that the grey wolves in Yellowstone were from Canada. About 30 were sent in the 1995/96 from Alberta, to repopulate the endangered population. Under threat due to over hunting. Trump is that vengeful.

The specific legal authority for this - as for about 9/10s of every one of his other executive orders - is the Reverse Every Rightwing Reagan Era Culture Wars Loss Act of 2025.

I’m so curious. Which of his billionaire ball suckers went to him and was like “I’d really love to shoot these wolves myself but there’s this damn protection over them? I wonder if somebody could do something for me?? All while gurgling on his orange balls.

Why can he get away with this? In his first term when he signed all of his crackpot EOs, everyone assured us that Executive Orders were basically toothless. Apparently Trump's executive orders become law.

"You can shoot 'em" despite there only being 6,000 wolves that now occupy less than 10% of their historic range in the lower 48 states. bsky.app/profile/huff...

Just give Canada all its wolves back, and do it now! Deport them to BC or Alberta. Did nobody in the Lower 48 see and understand anything in "Dancing with Wolves". Don't the 2nd amendment people have enough humans-who-scare-them to kill? Do they really need to shoot wild animals too?

I realize this EO doesn't automatically remove protections. It instructs Dept. Of Interior to determine if wolves met the recovery requirements to be removed. But, I so tired of this EO bullshit. It's too much influence, to much capitulation, to much power. It needs curtailed.

Maybe the wolves will be like the wildlife in Africa and maul the hunters to death. (Like that elephant and the billionaire poacher a few months ago).

Can you believe this BS? 👇 To lower beef prices: The action was packaged with broader measures aimed at supporting domestic cattle producers and lowering record-high beef prices.
