Everyone remembers Embrace Extend Extinguish, right? That Microsoft is one of the most destructive firms in the history of capitalism, that it's monopolist crimes have probably set software and computing back years if not decades?

A lot of people thought that MS would buy all the studios and just rule the market, not realizing that the endgame was buying them all, and then dismantling them for the AI bonfire.

"Use them as kindling" is the most accurate description I've seen so far of what they've just done.

And also the Genocide.

Always remember Ensemble Studios. Still haven't forgiven Microsoft for that.

I’ve been using it since the 20th century and it’s barely changed. They care so little about it as a product.

Cant beleive i was up for them buying them. I was all stary eyed "oh now they'll have all the funding they need to make great games"

It might stop being called “doing an EA” at this rate.

So typical of Microsoft. Constant new versions of the dreaded Blue Screen.

Slash and burn. I seriously doubt Microsoft will ever make a legitimately good game again. Xbox is dead.
