lmao this rules so much. Please do this. Please pick a fight with the one remaining box office juggernaut the games industry has left

I know Rockstar is a shit company and don't need to be reminded, it's immaterial to the fact that GTA 6 is going to make a gorillion dollars. It already has, on $100 pre-order editions.

They can't not talk about it, but they can't LIKE it in case someone outflanks them by noticing something woke. So they have no choice but to stand on the train tracks and grit their teeth

Yes they've destroyed gaming discourse for a generation but at least they've made it impossible for them to enjoy their own supposed hobby and identity

Was there this much reactionary Kabbalism when GTA: San Andreas came out and the only choice of player-character was Black? I wasn't online then; I was too busy just playing the fuckin game

In 2004 racist chuds online would have been self-isolating in chat rooms and forums nobody would want to hang out in, so I doubt anyone noticed.

It also rules when the world's dumbest boys, who have polarized themselves against the concept of knowing anything, attempt any kind of in depth analysis. Like watching a turkey trying to draw

Dunno about you, but I'd prefer watching a turkey trying to draw.

Ehhh, none of these guys actually play games, this is a bunch of people whose job is trying to find a Culture War angle for folks whose hobby is watching YouTube and getting angry about things.
