I'm here for all the lulz but real talk Dems should be celebrating this crew. Likely union, following government safety regulations. These are blue collar Americans and Dems should be bringing this crew to pressers and even the next state of the union.

Scaffolding is normally installed by a crew that's specifically trained for it, and is intended to make it safe for "normal workers" to work at heights. Expect a different crew will be the ones actualy doing the removal work.

I'm pushing back on this hard. You ever worked on a scaffold? Watch how these guys are DOUBLE roped in. Do you know why? Government regulations. Aren't we in support of gov regs for worker safety? I'm good with jokes, all for the lulz. But let's remember what these guys are doing after MIDNIGHT

These workers didn’t. The KenCen is absolutely fucking with us for not starting the work until the absolute last minute. But I’ll bet a lot that these workers are just a separate contractor that got the deal today.

Does the relief they've requested make any sense to you? I don't see how extending the declaration deadline would change that they failed to compy with the signage deadline. bsky.app/profile/did:...

It's odd. They're treating the declaration as the only thing that was ordered to be done by today. But the signage change was independently ordered to be completed today. They seem to be asking for permission to make a declaration tomorrow that falsely says they complied and changed the sign today.
