I guess Casey Newton didn't enjoy my latest newsletter post making fun of his flimsy justifications for returning to Twitter

I told people my retirement goal was to buy a corner house near some sort of school, so i could yell at kids cutting across it to get off my lawn. Still working on that goal.

fucksake, if you ever see me hold a gun like either one of those idiots, do me the favor of shooting me for everyone else's safety.

I increasingly think he left Substack not merely 60 percent for the publicity, but 100 percent. I could swear Newton did something skeevy years back -- and maybe got fired for it? -- but I can't find it. Plagiarism or something. Maybe I'm mixing him up with somebody else.

I think he means fairly-well-representative of the positions held among bluesky users, but he could stand to be more clear

Vituperative Bluesky Deadender.... If the people at work don't get you a desk plaque with that on it, you need a new job. Someone else said it would fit on a business card. OWN IT, baby!

I want this in actual Poster form. 18 x 24 frameable numbered prints. Do a short series for every holiday as theme, the more obscure the better. Is there a Buggy Whip Day you could do, as a dead ender? Cobol Coder Day? Steam Engine Days? Dying Spirit of America Day?

Casey Newton immediately retreats to his podcast hugbox where he gets asspats and softball pushback so he can self-righteously say he listened to criticism. and YOU'RE the Bluesky dead-ender. Okie-doo
