Yeah I think the clarity it gives people is good, especially with how familiar people will be with CC licenses in general. Gotta weigh up the good vs the bad I guess!

I'm fine with AI training on my material if that means that it doesn't train on material of artists that want to keep their art to their selves. Then again, we all know it trains on whatever it wants unfortunately

It's unfortunately someone who just lost their money to this. I'd indeed recommend just telling people (in comments, or as a review) that the assets are available for free from the official source!

I work really hard (really, really hard) and do a lot of sacrifices in order to keep everything affordable and free for my fellow indies. It just sucks that people take that hard work, slap a price on it and, well, scam people

Honestly, I know it's not a popular take, but I don't really agree with the whole asset marketplace stuff to begin with. It feels like it's abused for scams so often that you might as well not even have a marketplace. I never trusted paid assets, and now I have even less trust with all the AI shit

yeah that's weird but that's just how the license works.. otherwise the license must prohibit not selling items individually, but instead use them in commercial projects like video games of animations. Also thank you for what you're doing.. you and the legends on poly pizza platform!

I bought your first pack 11 odd years ago, because I wanted to support what you do for the community. It undermines the spirit and intent of your efforts when someone sells it as their own work.

To be honest, this is one of the biggest reasons why I could never get into releasing assets, cc0 or paid. People like this will resell them regardless if its legal or not
