This is all smoke and mirrors. U.S. cattle herds are low due to drought (i.e. climate change). Add 10% on all beef imports and, voila, prices go up due to lower supply & the 10% tax. The only restriction on imports from Argentina is requiring they meet FDA quality standards. Are we lifting those?
