The National Post is using language that seems wildly irresponsible and dangerous here Citing ancient “Jewish law,” it labels Avi Lewis as a “rodef” The ultranationalist extremist who assassinated Yitzhak Rabin rationalized his killing on the same basis: www.theguardian.com/world/2020/o...

The National Post publishes a piece suggesting people need to use "Jewish Law" to "deal" with Avi Lewis This can only really be interpreted in a threatening manner. nationalpost.com/opinion/yoni...

I'm quite sick of all these adults and their cults and fantasies having power over my life. Its all fairy tales folks... if there is an omnipotent being running the universe - ITS WAY OVER YOUR HEAD AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO PRETEND YOU KNOW ITS INTENTIONS.

Yeah. Its kind of stating that this "jewish law" that they speak of is above Canadian law. A rather insane thing to say as a "national" newspaper. Im with Avi.

Are we honestly surprised the Trump-Israel-Epstein aligned media in Canada is dabbling in stochastic terrorism? They do this all the time and get away with it. People die because hateful lies being published goes unpunished.

Sure looks like the unemployed former editor of the Canadian Jewish News is angling for a new gig using the strategy of the white nationalist wannabe influencer set: write extremely violent, hateful drek and wait for the dark money offers to roll in.

Read his thing on Christie Pits, googled him and was shocked that he wasn't Sue Ann Levy. Carrying the torch of a aggravated boomer.

A cautionary tale for my editor friends (and probably many others in this new world.) Why Policy Options removed an article published under the name Daniel Robson policyoptions.irpp.org/2026/09/dani...

Well now I'm going to start supporting the NDP even more. /Michael Scott - Office Meme That is honestly just short of the National Post spreading hate literature. Which to be fair, isn't exactly a long walk for them to make.

Disgusting. But please note that Jewish law does not in any way countenance vigilante justice. There is no actual Jewish law, read with sincerity and in light of rabbinical tradition, that could be used as a justification for violence against Lewis. So let’s not suggest that there is.

In other words, "Lewis' comments are dangerous and can clearly lead to violence, anyway here are my comments on how it's an unambiguous moral imperative that Lewis must be removed from the Jewish community by any means necessary" Yikes.

This is as much in accordance with ancient Jewish law as Hegseth's war is in accordance with the teachings of Christ. Which is to say, it perverts the meaning of the words it stole from religious traditions it mocks. They can cherry pick scriptures, but scripture as a whole as them as the vilains.
