If you are a San Francisco voter who actually wants to implement left-progressive policy, Scott Wiener is your candidate.

Yes. Yes. A thousand times, yes. @scottwiener.bsky.social is THE progressive in the race to succeed Nancy Pelosi in Congress. He believes in progress. Connie Chan does not. sfstandard.com/opinion/2026...

Nope. He’s in the pocket of tech and real estate and has been for ever. And I’ve lived in districts he represented for the past 12+ years. #voteconniechan

Where are they building 5M homes in SF? All new construction I've seen is condos which are cheaper than any SFH

Supply side trickle down economics rebranded as abundance is not progressive. I didn’t say I’m against density. Also “connie says no and Weiner says yes” is so childish. Says yes to what? He says yes to $$ from AI, tech, Aipac, and big real estate. Connie says no. That’s what we need in Congress.

Calling housing abundance “trickle-down economics” doesn't make it so. Housing shortages benefit wealthy property owners and punish renters. Increasing supply is progressive because scarcity drives up costs and exclusion. Saying no to housing isn't standing up to billionaires.

Also, affordable housing needs a broad understanding. Not just subsidized housing. There is no solving the crisis without a large amount of building, and that's not possible without the private market.
