We are not at all used to such criminal and unprecedented government actions. Then the realization that there is very little that can be done to stop him when he is the final say in terms of DOJ and marshal law. It’s the most helpless slide into fascism and the constitutional crisis ever!

As an American who has spent my entire adult life and most of my adolescence and childhood showing up as an activist, advocate, professional and volunteer fighting for a party that chose to fundraise off of my loss of rights rather than stand up for them, I’m exhausted and utterly disappointed.

We need to unite. There is more power among the people than people realize.

Those guardrails have proved very flimsy. And part of it is the fault of We The People. Our democracy was never self-executing. We needed to be involved, work in good faith to solve problems, and not tolerate the intolerable (paradoxically). Now we have to do it the hard & dangerous way to correct.

And we need to do a whole lot more hands-on now quickly, so this doesn’t get worse!
