I'm trying to read up about this but it gets mighty complicated. I have to sort in my head what I'm talking about as I'm becoming confused. If there is civil contempt vs criminal contempt, it's makes a difference because the "prez" can just pardon criminal contempt anyway.

incorrect. The president cannot pardon acts of treason. He's already worn out any good will that judges had for the justice department. They only retain the power that WE allow them to, aka consent of the governed. The lawyers can argue until the end of time, but ACTION is what's needed.

If he was following the Dickwad Don's orders then he is exempt from prosecution regardless of the gravity of the crime committed. The Supreme Court ruled 6–3 in Trump v. United States (7/1/24) that presidents and former presidents hold broad criminal immunity for actions taken while in office.

I hate to be as 'downer' but the legal definition of treason requires that we be in a declared war, for that to be a chargeable offense. We are not in a declared war, as only Congress can make that declaration. Clearly we ARE in a war, but a charge of treason would not fly. WE all know it's treason🤬

These allegations have not been proven. They were made by author Matthew Cole. Kushner's lawyers say they will be taking legal action, which means if they do Kushner will have to give a deposition under oath. So we'll see.
