This is something we get accused of surprisingly often and all I can say is: yes. Good. I am here to destroy the hopes and dreams of husbands who don't think they have to add value to their wife's life.

The worst thing about this is that being bad in bed, over a ling enough timeline, is a choice. Thry could literally just ask and listen and care, and the sex would get good with practice.

This!? They don't even need to fond different partners. They could try working it out together! Lots of people do! it's not only "my husband is bad in bed" but also "i will settle for this badness and so will you"

it's also not the most important thing to everyone! there are so many ways to add value... but the fact that they call it "unrealistic expectations" and "disappointment" makes it pretty clear it's something they wish they had and are trying to convince themselves they do not

I got married real young, and my spouse's "I will make sure you're not stressing about anything so you can just relax and have a good time" energy made up for a hell of a lot of bedroom inexperience. He still does all the cooking & making sure kid is cared for on "business days".

I really cannot express how much I would rather remain single forever than marry a man who has not learned some of the lessons, both emotional and physical, imparted by romance novels.

Just woke up & read 1/2 of that b4 I couldn't take the preachin. She can fuck off with her whining. Or she could try reading hubs some 'spice' (we call it fucking in my house but we're grown ups) & see what he learns. That pissed me off. 2 parents means she should be able to leave her house too ffs.

I like to think I figured this out in life early on: caring about my partner's orgasms meant I got a lot more sex. 🙂 The math mathed for me.

It's also just patronizing to think that no adult women out there can distinguish between a fantasy and real life. You can enjoy all kinds of stuff in fiction that you wouldn't expect or even want in real life, romance or otherwise. I read a lot of horror! Doesn't mean I want a haunted house.
