The man ICE shot, Wilber Rafael Garces Perez, was transferred into ICE custody despite his injuries rather than released for care.

APD was not part of this incident, it was federal and state officers. APD already said it's investigating.

I just looked it up. Serious but stable. He's still at risk (secondary trauma can kill days after) But if what I read once is correct about 95% of people who make it to a hospital alive after being shot survive. I'd pray if I believed it could help.

Broadview IL has some pretty ugly stuff going on too. This is a popular area for peaceful protests because we have an ICE detention center here, and ICE started attacking peaceful protesters yesterday. There are plenty of pictures but I don't have permission to share. It's on Reddit.

Broadview, a popular target of ICE because people peacefully protest at their detention center there-apparently some activity is jumping off, I think it started yesterday and it sounds like it's ongoing. Broadview is a very small peaceful area and I can't imagine that this force is necessary.
