He thinks he's right, but it is, imo non-lawyerly opinion, terrible legal advice. If a DA charges, and the Federal judge remands when the officer asks for removal, the agent is going to trial in *state* court. It'll be tough for these guys to convince a district judge that these apply.

when DHS or someone like Stephen Miller talks about “federal immunity,” they’re invoking a long-standing legal principle but they’re framing it politically as near-absolute protection, which it isn’t.

It doesn’t protect them from criminal prosecution if they break the law. It’s more threat than law. It’s designed to intimidate critics and signal federal dominance over local authorities.

This immunity has been granted to you by the Article III branch, it can easily be removed by the courts and by the Article I branch! It is not absolute!

Can someone explain how the DO or FBI bar state-level agencies (State or Local Police) from investigating a shooting or from arresting an ICE officer when a state law is violated?

As hideous as his statement is & as illegal as it is- we need to start seeing that things are no longer as they once were. Legal? That went out the window ages ago. He's making up shit because he CAN & he knows it. He's dangerous. We thought ICE was bad before? He just created a monster.

#StephenM, ICE agents and you can face prosecution for excessive force, violating civil rights (e.g., racial profiling, unlawful entry/seizure), fabricating evidence, or committing crimes like human trafficking or fraud themselves, with potential charges including assault, civil rights violation.

“Legal obligations” is doing some Herculean lifting. ICE has no authority over American citizens. Cannot enter a home legally without a warrant, pull people from their vehicles, or shoot them in the face. But here we are.

Reminder to the people. The Constitution is a contract that has been broken. Be safe, but know that the federal government has been in breach. Resist, but work with what you've got.

Hey #ICE ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ You forgot one that is hiding out in the #WhiteHouse. If not there he is at Mar a lago in Florida. A #Venezuelan Goooooo get him & detain. ‼️‼️‼️‼️ 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇

Miller gives zero fucks about the future risk to ICE agents. He, like Krasnov,Putin,BiBi, Kushner,BoneSpurs, Thiel, Prince & Musk, firmly believe there will never be consequences for their actions.

Steven Miller good luck with that. Millions of Americans have read your post. We differ in what is actually happening but once we see you in court to testify about this post we can all have a good laugh. Keep on posting you simpleton.

Sure, that's great. Except they have the judges to say otherwise. With the way Congress has given up its power to the Executive over the last 20+ years, the Constitution and whatever laws we like to think we have are just words on paper. This isn't a "all is hopeless" comment. It's a "this is the

Oh, good evening to you too Steven. Its fun because at some point in time, when this finishes spiraling towards 1939 and gets closer to 1945 Steven will likely face charges and undoubtedly never see the light of day again. Donald will be dead by then times not kind to 80yos.

NONE of that is true. They aren't federal agents but contractors. Nobody has actual immunity nor does someone stopping an illegal act suffer consequences from it. Y'all think you're above the law? No.

In real law, no officer has magic immunity. They’re protected if they act within lawful authority and reasonable use of force. Step outside that, and immunity evaporates. That’s always been true

2. If Trump use ICE to hunt and hurt American's,cutting their healthcare, social security and fire them in jobs...WHO the fuck believe his damned "America First" or his "Make America Great again" ? Do you really wanna lose America on that way ? You will lay wounded on earth AND lost your country ???
