Could Trump have had a hand in the decision to run it? I base this on his higher degree of knowledge about it when asked the day after it first ran. In his usual rambling “well I think it involved …” defense of it, he knew too many details to have not known about it for days - i.e., beforehand.

I think it's also a common mistake that some MAGA cronies think that anyone can get away with saying & doing the 💩Trump says & does, not understanding that Trump gets a pass because he's a white guy & his followers just won't give the same latitude to people of color, no matter how MAGA they are.

I’ve dealt with the Indian physician community for 35 years. The vast majority are great people but they have some wildly racist uncs and aunties. I’ve heard some stuff that would make George Wallace and Jessie Helms seem tame. The rise of him, Patel, Bhattacharya, D’Sousa, etc are not surprising.

For whatever reason, Trump is the "one special boy" to whom rules of behavior do not apply. Ramaswamy is learning he is not a special boy.
