I'm writing about different kinds of power for my first book. Seeing this framing about how power is an active force is something I tried to work in but couldn't. Glad to see it so plainly and effectively communicated here!

Harvard isn't a guardian of academia. Paul Weiss isn't a guardian of the law. They are PROPRIETORS of academia. They are profiteers of the law. These people exercise their power every day, they just only use it to entertain and flatter themselves... after all, they own the club! Viva Panama!

👎 “Average Americans” are NOT regaining anything. Why! Well, they are dealing with things they’ve never had to deal with before. • A Psychopath as President • A GOP that lacks courage • A useless Opposition Party • A Gestapo & SS on Streets • A solution they won’t use. SECOND AMENDMENT FFS!

Presidential republics are inherently unstable. This will happen again unless fundamental reforms happen. And they will not under your two party system with unchecked capitalism. And an unchecked presidential office. Germans protested the nazis. 50% of the pop. were against them.

Congress refuses to act because GOPers are sock puppets for Koch & Murdoch, and evidently their standing orders for the past ~20 years have been to cripple government through inaction unless otherwise directed. Paralyze gov't so new predatory schemes can flourish. It's that simple.

Thanks. It’s extremely annoying to see content from the rich and powerful who tell us what we can do. But they have the power and the money!!!! They should do things with it! Stop putting the burden and risk on us. Step up and take risks with us, dammit.

I find it unfitting. Most of these issues only arise because the presidential office has so much power, increased by both parties over the decades. It is exactly because the trumpet now using this power, that the situation is that bad.

Here is my own little version of this: I have been trying for a year to get the NC Bar Association to put out a statement in support of the rule of law, following the example of the ABA. They are afraid to do anything because their funding comes from the NCGOP.
