My kid has been saving for months- all his birthday money from *last summer* all his allowance, collecting cans, everything to buy this. He’s going to be devastated.

The real American story- work hard, save your money only to have some rich asshole pull the rug out from under you.

First sign of my main theory: tariffs will result in a return to less choice and lower quality as it impairs competition. Truly back to the 1970s, but it takes time so maybe people don't remember how much they liked the choice they had. (Brexit same.)

Mate I’m not sure removing Land Rovers from the market reduces average quality.
