Unsubscribing from Prime is a good start, but Amazon makes its money from AWS. No amount of consumer changes will impact that. Only the govt has the scale to impact Big Tech. FTC needs to step up and break these monopolies.

How about also ensuring better targeting than just 'boycott big tech', as thats way too nebulous. Let's try 'Cancel your Amazon Prime account and send that money to your favorite former fed running (like Chuck4MD.com for example)' Targeted boycotts with a place to direct the outcome could work.

Electing leaders who will do what's right instead of sit in someones pocket, starting at the local level, will help. I suggest voting for all former feds.

My household unsubscribed tonight to: Kindle, Audible, Netflix, Youtube Premium, ChatGPT Plus, Microsoft 365, Prime Video ad-less, an Amazon Prime account, Apple TV, Apple Music. We will not purchase anything on Amazon for at least the month of February. No Spotify, no WashPo.
