Some people give so much beauty and hope to the world they never really pass in many senses. Dolly's songs were full of her heart and whenever they are played she continues.

I just told my 17 year old granddaughter who screamed OH MY GOD! Then brike down crying. Dolly touched so many, of so many different ages. It is Dolly’s philanthropy and goodness of heart that made her an iconic figure in my grands mind. Dolly was a truly wonderful role model & will be missed.

Ditto for our beloved "Dolly(rest in power)", You are an amazing humanbeing as well as SINGULARLY,making a tremendous contribution to all the inhabitants of "EARTH" so, on behalf of a grateful world we thank you &, if "Bob Hope" were here he would say..."THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES" and, much much more!

OMG, I’ve not turned on the tv, just now started scrolling and now wish I had not. My heart is broken 💔💔💔💔😭 Rest in Peace, Rest in Power you Beautiful Soul Dolly. Thank you the songs, the laughter, the love. 💕 🙏🏽

Im literally crying. My grandma would sing us Coat of Many Colors and then we danced to I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU at the prom . We won't see her like come this way again smh

Thank you for your post. So very, very sad. 😢 I remember watching the Porter Waggoner show every week with my family. Dolly Parton is my best memory of the show. She was so kind to others & shared her wealth for the benefit of those who needed it most. 💖

When she was on Tonight Show, Johnny Carson joked that he would "give about a year's pay to peek under there". LOL I remember she popped out during CMA while handing out an award. She said "Daddy always told me you can't put 50 pounds of mud in a 5 pound bag" RIP Dolly Parton

I agree. She was a natural treasure. You didn't have to love her music, you just had to love her as a good human. A kind human. A giver. Not a taker. The world could use more Dolly. She will be missed.

She was (“ was”‘is so hard to type) an extraordinary entertainer and human being Her extraordinariness as a human being supplanted her entertainment extra ordinariness Some people are born out of time and place; they bring gifts to the world we desperately need Dolly “ was” one of those people

Like millions I did not know her personally but that doesn’t lessen the hole in my heart and my life. This loss is like Robin Williams and Jim Henson…the truly good leave us too soon

Only yesterday my girlfriend & I were just talking about her We were joking about how she was a responsible gun owner (of all things) in reference to the tiny gun she carried in her purse The fact is that we were just thinking about her Sad I hate this timeline too Why her & not the orange pig

PS In other sad news that I heard Frank Beard of ZZ Top fame died a few days ago He was the drummer for duration etc I think he was 77 RIP Take care, folks
