they'd be saying this under a non-trump president too. authoritarians view hypocrisy as another form of power. one ruleset for in-groups, another for out-groups. this happens to be the thing they've latched on to as a smear, they don't care that it's inconsistent and never would.

Always figured the caring about God part was just a matter of convenience. Enjoying watching the pundits suddenly flip on the gun issue. Hope a few gun owners have noticed that having a gun is now a handy excuse for law enforcement to do whatever they want to you when they want to.

They never had convictions; they just wanted to hurt people and Trump finally gave them permission to stop pretending otherwise.
