Having read you're excellent sketch, I read an Artillery Row column by a former Tory MP. It's either satire, or he is completely unhinged. Eg 'Under Jenrick, members would know what the party stands for!'

Perhaps he's just doing a George Wallace, whose racism was more about winning votes than anything else?

Great last line, but his peroration also sounds like an AI-mangled F. Scott Fitzgerald, borne back ceaselessly into the past. The Great Twatsby?
