I mean this so seriously-you need to require diaper fetish content to censor their shit when they post is the same as any other sexual content. I’ve blocked every single account that comes on my feed of it and I still get once a month some dude getting off on pretending to be an infant. It’s gross.

They can exist, it’s not illegal, but I shouldn’t be forced to partake in ANYONE’S sexual activities or work without consent randomly when opening this app. They think they can get away with it bc they aren’t nude. It’s a huge reason I’ve stopped using the platform.

damn 😔 sounds like hailey's eyeball torture reviewing session didn't help for that long bsky.app/profile/hail...

hailey@hailey.at

made a change that should reduce the amount of male underwear/diaper content in the feed. that wasn’t a fun review process but hopefully worth it.

Considering our governments across the globe are enacting Fascist Authoritarian censorship regulations, corporations are kowtowing and bowing to these dictates. I'm pretty angry that BlueSky is falling to this and failing to protect the exchange of Free Exchange of Ideas. 😠

All I can say is I truly hope that you embrace and act on these principles and use the feedback you will be received in a meaningful way. I had high hopes for Bluesky and these very vague and undefined guidelines you have produced do not give me any confidence you will uphold these principles.

Best we can do is hitlersite 9 billion again. sorry guys but having nice things is not allowed because human beings have to create them and we, by default, aren't allowed to have nice things. please submit your photo ID and also your address and bank account numbers and pin.

I'm framing this as sarcasm but let's not pretend for even a second that, with enough time, even a new site like bluesky will eventually be regulated into a hellscape just like twitter and everything else. the pattern will always hold, we will have good thing and then it will become bad thing later

So.. Reinvent the twitter echo chamber cos the customer wants to be always right? Please create a settings slider w/ the following steps: - I'm a baby and I need validation for breathing - I like people like me - I like to expand my views - I like to argue - I hate everyone and everyone hates me

Those are admirable principles. In line with them, per comment on main post: You've privately committed to having "no intentions" of using posts for generative AI training. But the TOS still technically give you that "right" under "enhance Bluesky, the AT Protocol, and future products and services."

Will you please explicitly put it in the TOS that you will never use content for that purpose? And if you will not, will you please explain the reasoning so that users can make appropriate choices in response?

I would like to edit posts. You forget things and then you have to take the post down and upload it again. NSFW. We're all adults here. To each their own. I, personally don't post NSFW. I want to share personal memories of mine and Gifs with a good friend not on my page. I left X because of this.

Then don't threaten those who built this platform: Sex workers, furries, NSFW artists, Queer people!! We just want to exist! I can't believe a platform would look at the massive censorship backlash and at Tumblr's downfall and be like "yes we should do that too".

Please allow people to remove followers, not just block them. It makes me uncomfortable to have a bunch of random people following me and not be able to remove them, even by blocking.

yes, they don't see your content, but they're still listed as a follower--only the account that is doing the following is able to change that record (and idk if it's possible to unfollow someone who blocked you)

You know how a tsunami works ? First it is little waves, but then the bigger waves follow, gliding on the little waves and they take everything away. This is what the EU is doing. Taking away our privacy and anonymity. I disagree with these rules. I'll leave Bluesky if they are enforced. #resist

Question on the “non-consensual sharing” section: does the prohibition on sharing private messages without the other party’s consent apply when this is done as a means of providing evidence for harmful behavior (ie. “showing receipts”)?

If you've seen CSAM posted to social media, please report it to the website AND to the law enforcement of the country of the person who posted/shared it. Sexually exploiting minors is illegal, and against bsky's TOS If you saw porn of adults that you didn't like, just block it and move on.

I have experience with the tossing of accounts due to unwanted content, not as a matter of lost freedom of speech, but as a matter of desirable business practice. I asked: do you Al Qaeda linked to your web site? I am asking Blue Sky: do you want porn linked to your website?

i was prompted when i logged in to accept the new ToS and such, and i wasn't able to do anything at all until i clicked accept. what if i don't agree? what happens to my account and info? you should add the option to delete an account WITHOUT accepting when you do these mandatory ToS updates.

Read your new TOS again and come back to us on how letting vague, wishy-washy "censorship" have a place in your platform is a good thing. A platform which, need I remind you, was to be the alternative to Twitter, without the user-unfriendly practices and algorithms, and supportive towards artists.

just don't change anything. your shift from harmful interactions to harmful content is a big problem and its vagueness will be used to silence and suppress minorities, especially queer creators. almost no content is inherently harmful, but much content can be used in a harmful way.

that said, it hasn't stopped you from banning palestinians asking for help while they survive a genocide against them, so if i even wanted to believe these changes are necessary, you have shattered the bar of good faith upon yourself in a way that precludes good faith usage of these guidelines.

The vagueness in here regarding NSFW stuff is very worrying. As it stands now, you will be putting a large portion of your userbase in violation of rules As long as legal NSFW content is tagged appropriately, it should not be oppressed.

Bluesky needs to fuck off how they see suppressing people posts when 7 weeks ago I started an account and got 20000 followers in 3 weeks and then they put a shadow ban on my account cause I had the name trump in my name and they say they ain’t done nothing bull shit

I'm amazed with bluesky with the people being kind, intelligent, honest, with no alternative facts. I have left all other social sites like FB which it appears everyone is nasty.

Just be very careful with the algorithm. Algorithms are used for evil purposes on far too many platforms, and there really should be ways to opt out of algorithms. And don't involve AI. AI is often bullshit that sounds legit, and that's a major problem.

these changes aren't going to change the way Bluesky goes about algorithms. It has always been up to the user to choose what feeds they use, and to build "their own algorithm". and it will stay that way

Please update or evolve your video player or something! Its ridiculous that I cannot upload videos larger than 100 mb and 3 min long in 2025. Even when I get the file to 96mb and 1:16 in duration AND at 720p it still doesnt upload. It shouldn't be like this bluesky. bsky.app/profile/raxi...

Raxi3@raxi3.bsky.social

This is the one and only major thing that bugs me SO MUCH with Bsky, update your video player please!!! I want to upload videos to this site man but it feels so impossible a lot of the time here. I guess ill upload the fight vid to youtube later then and link it.

>sees post that you don't like >the post asks for criticism on the changes >replies "this is a joke right?" instead of any changes you would like discussed
