Uh, I am told that we should not modify our personal consumption to effect change, because BP said “carbon footprint” one time. “Change must occur only through legislation,” they said. So now boycotts work? It’s all so confusing! Or is it just that recreational progressives really like flying?

The market for Teslas collapsed - so Elon's $275 million investment in Trump, Inc. is now collecting $400 million for vehicles the US taxpayer does not want or need. Installing power charging stations will be an extra cost. Everything is a grift.

Yeah, the environmental cost of fabrication is a motivator. If push came to shove I could buy a new car but it’s not like the current one belongs in a junk yard. And since older cars don’t have much resale regardless, it’s not like selling it will impact the resale value.

Every time someone mentions Elon Musk’s name on social media, you should also mention…#Rivian To our Canadian 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 neighbors to the north, when considering an EV, think about Rivian!! @riviantrackr.com #R1 #R2 #R3 #R3X

I'd sell our Tesla today if we didn't owe more than it's worth. Two months after buying it, Elon started reducing the price of our model. After three reductions, we are so far underwater on the loan that we can't sell it without taking a huge loss.

This prob a hot take, but Tesla only popped off bc they were the first real EV. They’re like Avatar being the first, real 3D movie. Once the fancy dust wears off, you realize there’s better alternatives….also not a crazy owner. If you support it now, there’s no question who you voted for.

Eh. I’m not in the game like that, but Rivian def can be bought for around $10/share rn. Outside bigger brands doing it (Honda, Jeep, Toyota), that’s prob the one you can still get relatively cheap. Also, if I had EV money, Rivian def the one I’d get.

I really don’t think Elmo cares about his companies being successful. The tax breaks will more than make up for it and keep his shareholders happy. Such is the world we live in.

The message has to be that purchase or use of a Tesla is as gross as use of a Volkswagen during WWIi. Under Hitler, per its literal name - it was the people’s car. Even if it had been exported to the US then - the only purchasers would have been Nazis. 3/4

I’m torn. I bought my Tesla model 3 back in 2019 when it seemed like Musk was an eccentric but okay guy. I love the car. The pandemic broke him in some way. For now I’m going the bumper sticker route but don’t know how long I can hold on.

Yes, he profited from the fraud and will do so till it is stopped. They probably put in a floor with this stolen money and then use the coin as a way to wash "pay to play" money from companies, individuals, maybe even some countries. As an bonus they can do one pump and dump scheme after the other.

from a practical perspective a lot of people are likely underwater on that purchase and can't sell it dissuading new buyers makes sense but getting people to sell their car for minimal to no result doesn't strike me as a winning strategy.

Usually a person doesn’t need to have an intimate knowledge of a car company’s CEO’s inner thoughts as part of their purchase decision, and it’s not reasonable to expect people to have had such knowledge 10 years ago, when he hadn’t yet done the truly crazy stuff that he’s done as of late.

Look at all the lies he told over the years. Manipulating lies, stupid lies. Look at the family situation, his drug abuse, his hijacking of ideas, work and success of other peoples, the greed, the extreme risk taking behaviour, his total lack of ethics and moral.

Fight the Shadow King this Saturday at noon at Tesla dealerships everywhere. Change your avatar to anti-Tesla/Musk. He loves his money more than anything, so let's hit him where it hurts.
