Well, I'll be getting a mid-five-figure tax cut and all it took was creating a police state and taking away health care from a bunch of my neighbors

Honestly the GOP has been signalling this for ages (see their policies in the South), the mainstream media has been helping provide cover. Trump said "I don't know Project 2025" and then Harris/Walz were called liars for bringing it up.

Well for people with money whose hearts are in the right place and who don't see the world through their navels, the tax cuts present an opportunity to put the extra money where they think it will do the most good for others instead of to the government.

In the book Caste, Isabel Wilkerson says they aren’t voting against their interests, because the racism is more important than their quality of life. Which makes it both clearer and more insane at the same time

I've been paying for Trump's tax cuts for years. Now that we have a new fascist regime, I can't wait to find out how much more EVERYTHING will cost me. I guess as long as I don't have my citizenship revoked and manage to stay out of a death camp, I'm ok.

I guess "Making Liberals Cry Again" was easier for Trump voters to swallow than "Make Trump Voters Die Again". Live and learn...or not.

Totally worth it to avoid helping the 7.3% of welfare funds that are either fraud or waste. And to think, we nearly went after the estimated $150 billion that the 1% cheats the government out of annually. For those wondering, the second number is roughly double that of the first.

Cit health care And Tax cuts Are in there together. But I do not think there is a balancing relationship between them. Such a relationship would suggest a fiscal principle at work. The only principle is cruelty, revenge for imagined slights, and obsequious devotion to their betters.

I of course don't know for sure, but you're not even what I would consider *that* wealthy (i.e., obscenely wealthy), and the amount of your tax cut would be a life-changing amount of money for most people. This is crazy.

Time to ask my accountant if I can use any of the new massive corporate deduction loopholes in this bill to donate corporate money to charity. I know the rules about this are there to prevent people claiming to donate to charity and pocketing the money, but why enforce this issue so much?

Fuck the ~66% of the electorate who enabled this. And fuck everyone in the GOP. 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼
