i went to the courthouse with my son and we both voted mail in ballot then and there. 2 votes recorded 100% Dem. in PA i only had 4 offices to vote for: Governor, state rep, federal rep. and state Senator. we don't have local or other elections this year, like Judges.

GOP works to make life worse for people. About a million people have assets greater than $20M. I get why they vote GOP. For the rest of us, why would anyone ever vote GOP?

WA is a vote by mail only state, and we received a warning with our ballots during his first reign of terror that the USPS delivery might be delayed due to the actions of his appointee. I have collected all of our ballots and hand delivered them to the county court house drop box ever since.

Ironically, the article says it disproportionately affects rural areas. But yes, don't be complacent. Voting early and drop boxes are the best options.

We got ours in the mail at the main post office for our city as soon as we got our ballots. No drop boxes and can't hand them in at the polls in TN, so we do what we can.

Is there a notification system, at least? Here in California, they’ll notify you every step of the way: Your ballot… - …is about to go in the mail! - …is in the mail and on its way to you! - …has been received at an official processing center! - …has been counted! Thank you for voting!”

Washington doesn’t let you know when your ballot has been mailed, but it does notify when ballots are received and counted, or if a signature cure is required. Also allows you to download/ print a replacement ballot if yours doesn’t arrive in the mail.

I got mine yesterday. I need to research a couple local and state items before I commit, but plan on having that bad-boy in the mail this weekend. Crossing my fingers. Trump says he has a surprise regarding the election. Worried that he is going to go Martial Law or some shit.

If you are voting from abroad send it overnight signed for to the office. And screenshot the proof of delivery. In PA using the bar code on the envelope did not even go into the system to check that my vote had been delivered.

My mail ballot has been received by the Palm Beach county election supervisor, so even though I put it in my mailbox with the flag up, USPS delivered it rather than throwing it away 😛

If you are in a mail-in state, you *should* have a county board of elections office where you can drop your ballot off directly (if that is accessible to you!)

My mother is mobility handicapped and has voted by mail for four elections now. It’s so sad to me that I had to make plans with her to take her for a direct drop off because we can not trust the post office to do their job this year.
