1. Find your friends! I've found most of mine with: - Starter packs blueskydirectory.com/starter-pack... - the Chrome extension 'Sky Follower Bridge' www.sky-follower-bridge.dev - @theo.io's Follow Finder, which lists people who are followed by lots of people you follow bsky-follow-finder.theo.io
4. Custom domains My handle here is my blog's URL, which I think is pretty cool. You can use your own domain for your handle too, with the instructions on this page. Even if your domain is shared with others, you could still have a handle like yourname.domain
5. Labelers Bluesky lets people set up custom labels on posts, which are sometimes used for moderation, categorization, and even games. You can find and subscribe to some here. I subscribe to one called 'Art Theft Labeler', which labels posts containing stolen art.
7. Search There are some good advanced search options on Bluesky! You can filter searches with who it's from, to, who it mentions, which language is used, and dates.
Adding some more that others have suggested! 8. If you missed Tweetdeck for twitter, there's an equivalent here called Deck Blue H/t @chanler.ch

For brands I think this one is the biggie. Deck Blue allows you to use markdown, which in turn means no more horrible boomer links and a glorious new world of neat, pretty posts that really stand out.
others probably already mentioned it, but deck.blue has bookmarks and replying with that red tack is a terrible idea as it spams threads and makes them really hard to read... not sure if I can mute it, going to try...
10. Lots and lots of additional Bluesky tools. This GitHub page has a long list of loads of Bluesky tools, including analytics, feed builders, migration apps, and more. ht @timfduffy.com github.com/fishttp/awes...
