Work stoppages and the end of sending tax money to the Feds. We have to starve them of power and we all know money is power. They are forcing a civil war upon us. Not much time left to avoid it.

So say Trump sends ICE/FBI agents to close polls in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and California. It's not the votes that matter – it's the chaos. During the months while the courts are trying to sort out what happened, Congress is paralyzed. And, of course, the Supreme Court looms.

If Democrat candidates in the impacted Blue states arent making sure every voter is very aware of this, then they deserve to lose. It's inexcusable to let an issue like this go to waste.

That's not all. I personally know folks in red states where FEMA was recently called in when they weren't needed. Volunteer firefighters were coerced into reporting that fires were only x% contained so FEMA could stay and get paid doing nothing in their trailers. They don't have enough to do now

Trump is SO stupid to do that. In WA, there were wildfires near Spokane that destroyed hundreds of buildings. If Trump denies disaster relief, he's hurting people who most likely voted for him. The rural areas in WA are full of Republican voters. Maybe voters will blame our dem governor, not Trump.

I want JUSTICE for Americans who this regime has harmed and sometimes actually killed. I do not want to hear a Democratic president tell us we must move on or pardon these racist thugs in charge, I want heads on pikes. (figuratively speaking of course)

I believe the ONLY reason he's handing out disaster relief is because of the midterms. I don't think he wants to give money to anyone but himself. It benefits him so says he'll give up the gold, did they get the cheque, we'll see. Rumour has it he doesn't like to pay his bills.

We are at the exile/execute stage now Unfortunately (fortunately?) They all are too wealthy and have too many global connections to qualify for exile.

I'm really excited for dems to totally forget about the lessons in realpolitik from "he's not hurting the people he's supposed to be hurting", write strongly worded letters, and then do fuck all but keep taking donor money about this.

There's nothing preventing any democrat office holders from holding press broefings to get some news coverage. If it doesn't get covered after that, then get the whole team out to bitch about media bias, just like Rs have been doing the past 4 decades.

Every person in the federal government who helped make and implement these decisions, at every level of the org chart, needs to go to prison for a very long time

the only Democrat quoted in this article is Washington Sen. Patty Murray, the top Democrat on the Appropriations Committee... are the governors of these blue states saying anything?

It is, but remember that impeachment is just a feel good exercise. Of course we need to bring EVERYTHING up in official articles but they'll accomplish nothing save to have on record that he's a crook and a traitor.

So, I have two thoughts about that. 1.) The certainty of the outcome doesn't actually obviate the oath to defend the Constitution, that's what makes an oath unbreakable 2.) Impeachment grants the House extraordinary investigative powers. You don't have to go to trial with just a PowerPoint.

You're not getting a conviction but you can depose and interrogate everyone and conduct forensics for every crime you discover in the course of investigation. If the Dems had done this, "So what was the deal with J6 Capitol bombs?" Would be a matter of public record, not a bizarre hanging thread.

Those are good, valid points. And I do see some utility to using the impeachment process to harrass and bully people who need harrassing and bullying. Just want results more than anything, is why I often throw that pail of cold water on impeachment talk. I do totally get your perspective though.

Someone please explain why we continue pay federal taxes in blue states? This is putting you hand out to pet a dog, get bitten, and doing it again...and again...and again.

Because every one would individually have to stop paying taxes. The government has the power to legally take your money directly from the bank account if you do this, called a levy. If our money funneled through the state then the state could do it. But it doesn’t.

This too is impeachable. bsky.app/profile/stev...

Here’s VP Shady Vance falsely accusing Abdul El-Sayed of wanting to do what the Trump regime is currently doing: bsky.app/profile/atru...

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

JD Vance: "If you look at his politics, it is all about saying, 'This group of people is good, this ethnicity is bad, and I'm gonna fight to give from the bad group of people to the good group of people.' I think that's a despicable way to think about your fellow Americans."

When did Trump ever do subtle? No one who opposes him can do subtle and win. He’s as subtle as a gallows. We need to be as subtle as a guillotine.

States should not be denied disaster assistance or other public goods their taxpayers have paid for based on how their citizens vote. This is undeniably grounds for secession, and the sooner blue states start seceding, the better.
