I hate the Dodgers (SF Giants fan here) and rooted for Toronto. But have to give respect to Yamamoto, who gave it all. Well-deserved MVP. But the Dodgers still suck, lol.

Yes he is. And he is under a proper visa, completely legal. You people are so easily confused. Here...I will try to say it using small words, easily remembered, and not hard to define. We oppose ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. We LOVE LEGAL IMMIGRATION. My wife is a LEGAL IMMIGRANT. A long costly process.

Say it in SMALL words so he’ll understand. Not only are they going to the courts to deport LEGAL immigrants trying to do the right process, like his wife who would have been rounded up if she tried now, they are also rounding up actual citizens without due process. Buying into the lies of Noem 🤦🏻‍♀️

Dude, people are being rounded up and disappeared based on the color of their skin. Legal doors to immigration are being slammed shut. They're apprehending people when they show up at court to go through hoops legally. Open your eyes.

Pretty much every MLB team is absolutely diverse. And it's an example of how society could operate if it appreciated everyone's talents and contributions and didn't prefer people who looked a certain way. Even Alejandro Kirk, who doesn't fit the normal player mold, made major contributions.

Baseball was America’s favorite sport and mine when I was a kid. Carl Yastrzemski was my idol. I was still a big fan for decades but gradually, the majority of news about baseball was just multimillion dollar contracts and billionaire owners. For me, big money wrangling killed my interest. 🤷🏻‍♂️

America is a place of immigrants, but at the time when "looking different" is cause for being locked up, and with Asians now being part of the instant-arrest -- this is ironic and iconic.

This really is wonderful. The Japanese people have just LOVED baseball and for so long. This is a very nice way to honor all that love that those folks have had for our game...

Ohtani was the only Dodger who was hitting and would deserve the MVP, too. Yamamoto gets the nod because of his selflessness. He said “put me in coach“ with less than 24 hours rest while the rest of the bullpen was booking their tickets to Puerto Vallarta.
